Experience
Working with Rebekka
There’s no right way to experience your wedding. You might want to spend every possible moment with your guests, barely noticing the camera, or you might dream of carving out time to create something beautifully editorial together - a slow walk through sun-washed streets, an afternoon wandering through a centuries-old village, or a quiet moment somewhere that feels entirely yours. Most couples find themselves somewhere in between.
My role is never to impose a style of photography onto your day, but to understand what matters most to you and shape the experience around it - knowing when to guide, when to observe, and when to simply let the moment unfold.
Every timeline is thoughtfully considered, leaving room for the moments that can’t be planned. Around a month before your wedding, we’ll sit down together to talk through the flow of the day, the atmosphere you’re creating, the people who matter most, and how you want it all to feel. We’ll plan portraits around the best light, make family photographs feel effortless, and create space for everything that’s important - without your day ever feeling like it revolves around the camera.
When the day arrives, the planning is already done. You can be fully present, knowing every meaningful detail has already been considered. From there, I work instinctively - responding to the light, the atmosphere and the people around me. Sometimes that means quietly disappearing into the background, sometimes it’s gently guiding you into beautiful light, and sometimes it’s ending up on the dancefloor with a flashgun in hand. Every decision is made with intention, preserving not just how it looked, but how it felt to live it.

FAQ
How do we book you for our wedding?
The first step is heading to my contact page and filling in the enquiry form. This is where you can tell me all about your plans - your date, your vision, the atmosphere you’re creating, and what matters most to you about the day.
Once I’ve received your enquiry, I’ll be in touch with availability and the next steps. If it feels like we’re the right fit, we’ll start bringing everything together and creating a photography experience that feels completely personal to you.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes! I’m always excited by the possibility of photographing celebrations beyond the UK and working with couples who are creating something truly personal, wherever that may be.
There is something special about gathering your favourite people somewhere that feels removed from everyday life - the warmth of the evening air, long dinners that stretch late into the night, old streets full of character, and the moments that naturally unfold when everyone slows down. My approach remains the same wherever a story takes me: thoughtful preparation, an instinctive eye, and a deep appreciation for the people, places and atmosphere that make each celebration unique.
I want your photographs to bring you back not only to how it looked, but to how it felt to be there.

We feel awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?

More than okay.
Most people aren’t naturally comfortable being photographed, and that’s completely normal. My role isn’t to turn you into models - it’s to help you feel comfortable enough to forget the camera is there.
Through gentle direction, conversation and giving you space to simply be together, I create images that feel natural, effortless and like you.

Do you offer Add ons like second photographers or highlight reels?

Absolutely. Every celebration has its own rhythm, and sometimes having an extra perspective allows the story to be captured even more fully.
Alongside your photography, I offer content creation and highlight films for couples who want to relive the atmosphere of their day through moving images - the little moments, the energy, the behind-the-scenes glimpses and the things that happen between photographs.
A second photographer can also be added where it makes sense, whether you’d like both sides of the morning captured, a larger guest count documented, or simply the reassurance of having another creative eye present.
Everything is tailored around your plans, so we can create the right balance of coverage for the experience you’re dreaming of.
Yes.
While my work naturally leans towards connection and candid moments, I understand these photographs are incredibly meaningful. We’ll create a considered list beforehand and keep things organised and efficient, so you can spend more of your day celebrating with the people you love.

Do you photograph family and group photos?

When will we receive our photographs?

Your photographs will be carefully curated and delivered within 4-6 weeks. Don't worry though, you will receive a selection of highlights within 72 hours so you won't be waiting too long to get a sneak peek of your gallery.
I take time selecting and editing each image so your final gallery feels cohesive, intentional and tells the full story of your celebration - not just the highlights.

Do you work with LGBTQIA+ couples?

This feels like something that shouldn’t need saying, but I understand why it matters.
You will never be turned away because of who you love. Every couple deserves to feel safe, celebrated and completely themselves when choosing the people who will be part of their wedding day.
I genuinely love photographing all kinds of love stories, and I recognise that for many LGBTQIA+ couples, finding wedding suppliers can sometimes come with uncertainty. My approach has always been rooted in kindness, respect and connection - you are welcome exactly as you are.
Your story is yours. Whether your celebration is traditional, unconventional, intimate or completely unexpected, I’m here to document the love, joy and personality that make it uniquely yours.

Do you photograph elopements?

Absolutely.
I love elopements because they strip everything back to what matters most—the two of you, the place you’ve chosen, and the feeling of the day. Whether it’s exchanging vows somewhere wild and windswept, wandering through sun-warmed streets, or creating something beautifully intentional in a place that feels like your own, I’m there to document the experience as it unfolds.
Elopements also allow for a little more freedom and creativity. If you want to spend more time creating portraits together, exploring somewhere beautiful, or turning the day into something more editorial, we can shape the experience around your vision.
The same approach applies: thoughtful preparation, an instinctive eye, and photographs that bring you back not just to how it looked, but how it felt to be there.

Do you photograph alternative weddings?

100%. I’m drawn to celebrations with personality - the ones where every detail feels like a reflection of the people behind them. Your wedding doesn’t need to fit a mould to be beautiful.
If you want your day to feel like a fashion editorial, a cult film, or a music video brought to life, I’m here for that. I love collaborating with couples who have a vision, embracing the styling, atmosphere and energy that make their celebration completely their own.
The most memorable photographs come from moments that feel authentic, not expected.
